Fostering Interaction in Asynchronous Language Teaching
Kimberly Rehak (Linguistics, CGS instructional designer) will present.
Title: Fostering interaction in asynchronous language teaching
Description: Getting students to interact with both you and one another in asynchronous courses is difficult enough. Doing so for a virtual foreign language class might seem impossible, but it is possible! This presentation will go over strategies to foster interaction in asynchronous online learning environments using examples from an online, self-paced asynchronous English as a Foreign Language (ELF) course.
Location: The Robert Henderson Language Media Center @ G17 Cathedral of Learning
